I have been speaking with the Forestry Commision
and we have set the following dates for Canicross:
January 27th, Saturday 1100, Bolderwood Inclosure, New Forest, grid
ref. SU242086
February 24th, Saturday 1100, Bolderwood Inclosure, New Forest, grid
ref. SU24208
June 2nd, Saturday 0900, Wilverley Inclosure, New Forest,
orienteering taster event. The weather will be getting warmer but, as
this is orienteering, speed will |
|

be reduced. This will be a 'guided' introduction to
cani-orienteering. A short normal route will be available. Grid ref.
SU257007
October 27th, Saturday 0900, Location TBC in New Forest
All routes and distances are to be confirmed but will be in the region of a
short 3-4km for juniors and 8-10km for adults.
The orienteering will be based on a 5-6km course and then its as long as you
make by good or bad navigation. |
