Canicross races 2007
January February
February 24, 11 a.m.
Saturday race in the New Forest organised by Canicross Trail Runners. Assemble in Bolderwood car park (inclosure SU242086). Choose between 2.5 km and 5 km. Entry forms and more details from 0779 2854771 or The route covers open moor, muddy trails, forest paths, crossing streams and even an option to run through one. Sunday. 5 km and 2.5 km, Linmere Visitor Centre, Delamere Forest Park, Cheshire.

Sunday. Cani-cross championship, Cheltenham Racecourse, 2.5 km and 5 km. Entry form and more details:

Sunday.  Salisbury Plain. Long distance canicross, 21 km and 5 km. Entry form and more details

Sunday. Caniteering taster in the forest of Dean at Mallards Pike. Use speed and navigations skills with your dog. Simon Lamen of the Trail Runners will give an intro and demo before the race. More details from Nicky Hutchison (

August 4
Saturday. Come and see the the Trail Runners canicross team at the Wag and Bone Show in Windsor Great Park. There will be a treasure trail around the site with prizes to be won and canicross items to buy. More info:
September 9
9 September 2006 - the canicross event. We are organising a big dog fun day with the Forestry Commission which will include competitive canicross, caniteering, dog agility, dog stalls, trick and treat ring, grooming demos and lots more. This will be a fantastic day out at Beechenhurst Lodge and a chance to socialise with other canicrossers and try out new things. More details from Nicky Hutchison (
